Returns & Refunds Policy

Store: Audiophile’s Closet – Vintage Audio Store

At Audiophile’s Closet, we specialize in carefully sourced vintage audio equipment. Each item is unique, and while we want you to enjoy your purchase, we also understand that returns may sometimes be necessary. Please review our policy below.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be returned in the same condition as received, with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation (if applicable).

  • Custom orders, clearance items, and “as-is”/“for parts” equipment are final sale and cannot be returned.

Return Process

  1. Contact us at returns@audiophilescloset.com within the return window to request authorization.

  2. Once approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.

  3. Ship the item back using a trackable, insured shipping method. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or defective.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days after we inspect and approve the returned item.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

  • If the item shows signs of misuse, alteration, or damage not reported at delivery, a restocking fee (up to 15%) may apply or the refund may be denied.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or not functioning as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos and details.

  • We will work with you to arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund, depending on availability.

Exchanges

  • Because inventory consists of one-of-a-kind vintage items, direct exchanges are not always possible.

  • If you wish to exchange, we recommend returning your item (if eligible) and placing a new order.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards

  • Items sold “as-is” or “for parts/not working”

  • Custom-restored or modified equipment
